During the annual farm season (May to October), volunteer shifts are available for seeding, planting, mulching, cultivating, harvest and many other farm tasks and activities.

Tasks are assigned based on individual interests and abilities. Training is provided for each activity, including proper use of tools and equipment. While farming or gardening experience is an asset, all levels of experience and ability are welcome. 

Location: Newman Farm, Saanichton - 0.8 km north on Central Saanich Road from Mount Newton Cross Road. Look for the Newman Farm sign on the left, at the driveway.

All work is outdoors! Please bring a hat, sun protection, water bottle and sturdy closed toe shoes or boots. The farm site can be windy. Dress accordingly.
